  • How do I remove the DriversCloud.com program?
    Go to the control panel, then to add/remove programs. Remove the DriversCloud.com software.
  • Why are the preferences not saved?
    Check that cookies are activated in your browser options. Check your security software parameters.
  • Why do some pages not have information displayed?
    Depending on the confidentiality level chosen in your preferences, some information can be filtered. Deactivating some modules can also trigger this problem. It is thus advised to leave all the modules activated. Finally, if a module was caused to crash, in order to avoid crashing the browser, the error is handled and the defective module deactivated.
  • How long will my configuration be saved on the server?
    In non-connected mode, the XML configurations are deleted each 30 minutes. In connected mode, the configuration is saved in your profile. Still, you have the capability to delete it manually by clicking on delete the configuration in the left-hand menu.
  • How do I provide my configuration to a third party?
    Detect your configuration. Identify yourself, then use the service share my configuration. Copy the given link. Please note that this link will not be working if the configuration was destroyed (see previous question).
  • My computer is not connected to the Internet. What do I do?
    You can use the detection offline. Click this link
  • Does DriversCloud.com gather personal information without telling me?
    The DriversCloud.com program does NOT gather named or traceable personal information. The XML configuration only remains on the server 30 minutes on a ramdisk. You can use the manual delete function if you wish to delete it yourself (see previous question). No configuration is given to any third party. The user has the option of filtering provided information using the confidentiality levels in the preferences. This website is registered to French C.N.I.L. under number 1016058.
  • Which operating systems are supported by DriversCloud.com?
    DriversCloud.com has been tested and works with Windows® 2000, XP, 2003, XP64, Vista (32 and 64), Server 2008 (32 and 64), Windows 7 (32 and 64) and Server 2008 R2 (32 and 64), Windows 8 and Server 2012 (32 and 64). It also now works on Linux systems.
  • Which Internet browsers are supported by DriversCloud.com ?
    DriversCloud.com has been tested and works with Internet Explorer® 7 and later, Mozilla® Firefox® and Netscape®,Opera®, Safari® et Google Chrome(v2)®. Flash is necessary for browsers that do not support WebSockets.
  • Is DriversCloud.com compatible with 64-bit technology?
    DriversCloud.com works with a 64-bit processor. The AMD64 driver has been developed. Therefore, this web site works with Windows XP® 64 bits, Windows Server 2003® 64 bits, Windows Vista/7/8 64 bits and Windows Server 2008/2008 R2/2012 64 bits. Itanium (IA64) is now also supported.
  • Is the DriversCloud.com program free to distribute and use on other web sites?
    No. DriversCloud technology remains the property of its author. Distribution is for now limited to DriversCloud.com and a few other web sites under contract. Any other distribution is illegal.
  • Can the DriversCloud.com program be freely used on an intranet?
    No. But I am currently thinking about a solution especially developed for call centers, help desks and network administrators.
